Summary
The beautiful weather prevailing contributed to a most enjoyable series of Xmas celebrations. The places of amusement were crowded at all performances. The Coronet had four shows each day, and specially good pictures were thrown upon the screen. The 'star' pictures included 'Haunted Spooks,' featuring Harold Lloyd, and Goldwyn's Xmas play 'The Cinderella Man,' in which Tom Moore and Mae Marsh were the leading lights. The performances at the Hongkong theatre were also of considerable merit and were greatly enjoyed by crowded houses.
