Probably the youngest of the stage beauties whose charm and talent have won Broadway is Marion Davies, characterised as the most appealingly attractive girl on the American stage, who makes her photoplay debut in the much-talked-of comedy-drama 'Runaway Romany,' written by herself and to be presented at the Victoria Theatre here according to an arrangement just concluded between management and the Pathe Company, which controls the picture. She was in the Ziegfeld Follies and also with Gaby Deslys in Charles Dillingham's 'Stop, Look, Listen!.' She then played an important part in 'Oh, Boy!,' during the engagement, she got two offers, one from the Ardsley Art Film Corporation and the other one was 'Miss 1917.' The final result was that Miss Davies left the cast of 'Oh, Boy!,' and was able to accept both offers, working by day at the studio and by night at the theatre. When the picture was completed it was accepted for release by Pathe and it is interesting to note that Miss Davies is the second of the Pathe stars to be featured in the same Century Theatre show, considered by far the biggest thing ever seen in New York. The other is Pathe's other new star, Irene Castle.
