Summary

Saturday night's programme at the Bijou, including St. Patricks tide, Miss Stephano and Miss Violet Bouettes' singing, is extremely good. A film portraying Victor Hugo's novel 'Les Miserables' will be exhibited about the end of the month at the Victoria, under the joint managership of the two theatres. The film is the longest ever produced and takes over three hours to show. When it was exhibited at Shanghai, late comers found barely standing room. Mr. Bob Stephenson is offering the 'Bijou Cup' – a prize well worth winning – to the competitors at the Lusitano Club's sport on Easter Monday.
