Summary

Charlie Chaplin is lying in bed at Los Angeles swathed from head to foot in bandages soaked in oil, having had a narrow escape from burning to death. While at work in his studio his trousers caught fire. Miss Edna Purviance, and a studio helper who saved his life. The accident occurred during the filming of 'Vanity Fair.'
