Summary

Hongkong cinemagoers have chosen two Griffith production as being the best pictures the movie industry has mode. They will add one more when they have seen 'The Birth of a Nation.' Its cast includes Lillian Gish, Mae Marsh, Miriam Cooper, H. B. Walthall, Robert Harron, Wallace Reid and a whole host of minor stars. Its story is that of America during the civil war. Its setting is on a level with that in 'Intolerance' or 'Orphans of the Storm.' 12 magnificent reels of tense human drama set amid scenes that are historic. A wonderful musical setting.
