Summary

Last night saw a big house at the Coronet, the cinema-loving public being curious to see for themselves something of a picture that has a catchy title and that has been proclaimed a big draw by men who matter in the film world of other countries. 'The Merry-Go-Round' is certainly on its own and the familiar scenes of the carnival at the Prater arouse a degree of keen interest. Remarkable, too, as are the scenes in the Prater, in prewar Vienna, the thrilling love story holds its own in the estimation of the audience.
