Summary

The public has been so much misled in the past by the description, 'historical film,' when romance should have been indicated that possibly some people here will recoil from 'Passion' when they are told that Pola Negri film is largely the story of Madame du Barry, one of the most famous women in French history. 'Passion' is essentially romance because there is portrayed a charming love story to give a note of sincerity amidst the royal splendour.
