Summary

A society has just been formed which will ensure screening of films with certain aesthetic standards. Among its members are Mr. Roger Fry, Mr. Maynard Keynes, Mr. Bernard Shaw, and Mr. H. G. Wells. Sunday afternoon performances will be given at the Tivoli of pictures with pretensions to sincerity and of experimental and historical films. Hon. Ivor Montagu mentions that the experimental films will be of a scientific character. It is hoped also to revive old films of the period from 1905 like the early comedies of Chaplin and the two-reel Red Indian pictures.
