Summary
World Theatre will be screening the film version of David Belasco's stage success 'The Gold Diggers,' for four days' run, commencing on Wednesday, 10th. The film tells the story of Jerry La Mar who is shown in a Spanish dance with all true Spanish costumes and atmosphere. The screen adaptation of this play was written by Grant Carpenter and the direction is by Harry Beaumont. The cast is headed by Hope Hampton and is supported by Windham [sic] Standing, Louise Fazenda, Gertrude Short, Alec Francis and others. It is a David Belasco production and a Warner classic.
