Those members of the public who are asking for something better – a long way better – on some of the American films which almost monopolises the screens of our cinemas, will find some good specimens of what they want in the series of films which have just been shown privately by the Beacon Film Company. The pictures in question are some very fine views of Burma and the life and customs in the hitherto unphotographed parts of that vast country.
