Summary
The management of the Victoria Theatre must be congratulated. On Saturday night, the doors were besieged by a large crowd to see 'The Count of Monte Cristo' by Dumas, screened and also to be regaled by the Manila string band. It was a delightful combination and patrons felt extremely satisfied. On Saturday at the matinee, not a seat could be secured as all had been booked in advance.
