Summary

Ever since I started in the moving picture business, it has been my policy to take my patrons into my confidence and I have found that it has paid to do so! I now wish to say a few words with regards to big pictures at the Queen's. This weekend I am showing my first really expensive programme. 'Secrets' with Norma Talmadge is the most costly film that has come here since 'The Thief of Bagdad.' It has done tremendous business everywhere at full theatre rates. I am going to show it at ordinary prices, trusting that the Hongkong public will roll up in sufficient numbers to recoup my company for their abnormal outlay. May I ask your assistance in making the experiment a success? Your obliged servant, H. W. Ray.
