Summary

(To the Editor, S. C. M. Post) Sir, – Writer would be obliged if you could settle an argument or let me know who could do so. 'Whether there were any moving pictures taken of the actual fighting during the Russo-Japanese war or not.' This war finished about May 1905. Thank you in anticipation. Yours etc., Anon. Hongkong, 28th Jan. 1924. Pictures of the Russo-Japanese war were screened in 1906 or earlier. They purported to depict even such important battles as the capture of 203 Metre Hill. All that we saw, however, were fake. As far as we can discover, no pictures were taken of the actual fighting. – Ed. S. C. M. Post.
