Summary
The position the cinema has come to occupy in Chinese life is forthcoming from the news of a reel recently made in an interior village and exhibited in Hongkong during Ching Ming holidays. Mr. Mok Kon-sang and Mr. Mok Wing-yu, of Messrs. Butterfield and Swire's comprador department, were the leading spirits in the enterprise. The China Sun Motion Picture Company were commissioned to take pictures of the events and the reels are the result.
