A new Theatre worth $130,000 with a design similar to that of the World Theatre will be shortly erected at West Point to cater to the residents of this populous district. A site has been acquired at the corner of Third and Water Streets and arrangements have been made for a building capable of accommodating 500 people. The interior decorations and furnishing of the theatre will be on an elaborate scale. Construction work is expected to be completed towards the close of the summer.
