In the fast receding days before the war, the most dazzling centre of Europe was Vienna, which had a romantic glamour hard to find anywhere else. This is the setting that has been utilized to the best possible advantage by the master hand who conceived the 'Merry-Go-Round,' the Universal super-Jewel picture now being featured at the Coronet. There is, of course, a story, and a charming one at that, but great as is the acting and enthralling as is the theme. All this is depicted in the romance between the peasant girl of Prater and the young Count of the Emperor's highest staff.
