Summary
After their success at the Theatre Royal on Saturday, the Hongkong Philharmonic Society appeared at the Star Theatre last night in a repeat performance and recorded another success. The orchestra again carried themselves well and gave a fine rendering of the Henry VIII dances. The Song of Our Fathers (Rutland Boughton) was well received. The unaccompanied singing in London Town (German) was well done, but again The Revenge (Standford) was the best piece of the evening. Other performers include Mrs. Clements and Mr. S. Collett.
