At the Empire Theatre on Saturday, Verto, a mystifying conjurer and illusionist direct from Australia is appearing as a special turn. He is introducing some of his 'hanky panky pastimes,' which are about as equally amazing as the other magical evolutions he accomplishes during his performance. 'La Belle Verto,' in her charming pose plastique is also prominently placed in an excellent programme. By kind permission the St. Joseph's Band will play during the performance.
