Summary

The Star is following up 'Salome' with another big film, in accordance with its announcement of an Anniversary Week of super-films. There are several points about 'The Prisoner of Zenda' that make it a promising attraction. The story by Anthony Hope has been read at one time or another by nearly everybody. The film version was directed by Rex Ingram, whose reputation approaches that of the great Griffith in film circles. The cast contains a number of star performers, headed by Alice Terry.
