Summary

For the first time the public may witness on the film the amazing work performed by the tanks. The new war film 'The Battle of the Ancre' was shown privately at the Scala Theatre on December 22, and it was to be released for the public on January 15. Of the many superb pictures, those depicting the tanks take first place. The monsters are seen preparing for the fray, with their crews entering through the portholes. Then follows their triumphant, raging procession through 'No Man's Land'- tearing up barbed wire and other obstacles. Pictures of the difficulties which our troops have had to encounter are also shown.
