In the William Fox production of 'The Temple of Venus,' the spectacle is one of nature, some more or less adorned in bewitching bathing costumes. The picture opened a six-day run at the Coronet Theatre last night. In order to get the beauty of Nature unadorned, Director Henry Otta took his cast to Santa Cruz island, where he filmed the splendour of the grottoes and the winding beach. Then, he adorned a thousand west coast bathing beauties in the prettiest little costumes to be found. Phyllis Haver and Mary Philbin are the principal feminine roles, with David Butler in the male lead. Film plot included.
