The Salon Cinema Theatre was offered for sale as a going concern by Mr. Geo Lammert yesterday at noon, but owing to a dearth of bids the property was withdrawn. Previous to the sale Mr. Lammert announced that no films, piano, and bent wood chairs or any assets were offered; there remained for sale the goodwill with the lease to run to 31st October, 1912, at $150 rental per month. The apparatus, dynamo, electric light installation, stage and hall furniture were started at $6,000, but no bids being forthcoming, the property was withdrawn. The goodwill and furniture alone were put up, for which a bid of $1,000 was made.
