Thousands of people who have seen Rudolph Valentino on the film would not have recognised him when he left Waterloo Station, London for New York. He was wearing a short beard and moustache, which he had grown in order to play the part of a 14th-century Spanish gallant in his next picture, which he will commence as soon as he reaches America. 'I do not like false beards,' he said to a Press representative. The film star has been three months in Europe on vacation. He hopes to return to Britain in April.
