Summary

Captain Houghton Townley's strongly dramatic and emotional novel portraying high society life in England, 'The Bishop's Emeralds' has been photo-dramatised by Virginia Pearson Photoplays Inc., and will be presented at the Victoria Theatre on Wednesday, its initial showing in Hong Kong. The photoplay version features Miss Virginia Pearson, who has been christened 'The Velvet-Eyed Lady of the Screen,' and gives her ample opportunity to display those talents for which she is justly famous on the American screen and stage. 'The Bishop's Emeralds' is a photoplay which all cinema-goers should see.
