Summary

A special picture show and instrumental concert on behalf of the Kwangtung Flood Relief Fund attracted a lot of audiences. Socieda [sic] Philarmonie, the joint bands under Professor Gonzalez, and Sir Edward Elgar performed. The cinematograph show included two splendid sets of recent war pictures, a new successful sketch by Max Linder, and the concluding portions of 'The Perils of Pauline.' Mr. J. Blake, the manager of the theatre, announced that he was able to forward no less than $1,373 to the Kwong Wah Hospital, to be devoted to flood relief.
