Opera singer Renee Dupree is in love with struggling composer Julian who falls very seriously ill. She goes to impresario Mueller for the money Julian needs but is saved from sacrificing her virtue when a jealous lover kills Mueller.

Summary
Temptation,' which comes to the World Theatre for four days' run commencing Sunday, is an instance of how far the producers will go in this direction. The story deals with the sudden wealth which comes to a young couple. Film plot included. Although 'Temptation' was made in Los Angeles, much of the action of the story takes place along the 'Gay White Way' of New York. 'Temptation' contains five stars, among them being such prime favourites as Bryant Washburn, Eva Novak, June Elvidge, Phillips Smalley and Vernon Steele.
