The Alexandra Cinematograph, No. 2 Zetland Street, showed many beautiful films of varied subjects like pictures of comedy, travel and educational advantage. The machine is a particularly good one, and the entertainment well repays a visit.

The Melbourne Comedy Company, Eileen Melbourne, Tom Melbourne, scored another big success at the Victoria Theatre. Tonight is the last night of this programme. The 'movies' consist entirely of comedies with the exception of Pathe's Gazette.

Lovers of the Cinema who patronise the Victoria are promised a treat in the great Pathe Serial in 14 Episodes entitled 'The Red Circle.' Mr Frederick Coleman will give a lecture illustrated with slides on his experiences in the Great War.

A Pathe coloured film, 'A Matrimonial Tangle,' in five parts will be shown, starring Miss Ruth Roland. The story is most amusing; with its beautifully coloured open-air scenes it is a masterpiece of cinematography.

Hongkong Theatre has another big attention. A circus story in serial form, 'Peg O' the Ring' commenced tonight. This picture is thrilling and has been seen by enormous audiences all over the world.

Today the 11th and 12th episode of the magnificent picture 'The Goddess' will be screened together with new Keystone comics and comedies. The next episodes of 'Peg o' the Ring' will be resumed on Saturday next.

The manager of Hongkong Theatre has procured another serial film 'Goddess' and 'Peg o' the Ring' and 'Terence O. Rourke.'

At the Hongkong Theatre, 'Nettie,' will be exhibited to the public. She is said to be the heaviest woman in the world. In the evening of the 13th and 14th the episodes of 'Peg O' the Ring' will be resumed with some new comics.
