Performance from Conjurer Verto, the Illusionist; Screening of 'East Lynne', a pathetic drama from Mrs. H. Wood's novel
The splendid film version of Mrs. Henry Wood's novel 'East Lynne' will be shown at the Coronet Theatre today for the first time.
Coronet Theatre is showing the picture version of Mrs. Henry Wood's novel, entitled 'East Lynne.' The film is produced by Hugo Ballin who has simultaneously adopted a modern setting and maintained the authenticity of the personality of the characters intended by their creator.
On the road of progress along which the motion picture art is steadily travelling another milestone has been marked off by the film version of 'East Lynne' which is attracting big 'house' at the Coronet. The film was based on Mrs. Henry Wood's novel.
