The well-known actor Ling Yik, who lately performing at the Chung Hing Theatre, was sued in Supreme Court, by Kwong Koan Kwan, managing partner of the Wai Shing Tong Company, for $1,753.20, principal and interest alleged to be due under a promissory note.
The death of Mr. F. F. F. Kiene in Tacoma, Washington, is announced. The deceased was well-known in Hongkong for many years. He was engaged in the insurance business, and afterwards went into business in Zetland St. as an auctioneer, in premises now occupied as a cinematograph.
