Summary

Miss Adele Blood, the well-known American actress, who with Mr. T. Daniel Frawley is bringing a company to Shanghai in November, had some interesting remarks to make to the representative of a New York paper recently on audiences and theatrical possibilities in the East. Main comments from her are listed. Miss Blood pointed out that she searched among some papers and produced a programme of the premiere of the first picture produced by the China Film Corporation, a company using native actors and actresses. The picture was evidently modelled after the products of the American moving picture companies in their infant industry stages. The announcement reads, ''The Vampire's Prey' is the most perfect and sensational Chinese photo-play ever produced in China.'
