Summary

The Cinematograph entertainment in Weismann's Cafe attracted many people. The machine was an excellent one and showed the moving pictures with steadiness and brilliancy. The comic films were extremely amusing, the 'Electric Belt' in particular being screamingly funny. The 'Baby's First Outing' was also remarkable as showing the numerous wild and exciting adventures a baby in a pram. There were several good films of a serious nature, one showing the Martyrs of the Inquisition, which, if shown at all, should not be reserved to the last.
