Summary
The Hull Corporation Licensing Committee has considered the question of the censorship of films exhibited at picture shows which tend to incite juveniles to commit a crime. The Chief Constable stated that the police visited cinematograph exhibitions periodically, but their supervision was confined to films which they considered indecent. The Committee had power, before renewing licenses, however, to prohibit any film that lacked their approval.
