Mr F. P. Franklin, of the Coronet Theatre, has returned from a business trip to Manila. He declared that Manila has much to learn in entertaining the public in cinematography. As Hongkong audiences appreciate the unbroken and splendidly-projected films here, they will definitely be disappointed at the much-interrupted programmes there. Thus, the overall quality of films shown and provided in the Philippines is certainly below the standard of the Coronet.
