Dr. Sherwood Eddy, a social worker of the Chinese Church Union who had delivered a series of lectures at the Chinese Y.M.C.A., addressed a large audience in the World Theatre at 8 o'clock yesterday morning. The lecture was specially arranged by the four big emporiums, the Sincere, Sun, Wing On, and the Cheng Kwong Companies, for the benefits of their employees. Mr. Ho Siu-lau acted as interpreter. The words given by Dr. Eddy, regarding the labour conditions in China and the influence of Christianity, are listed.
