Summary

Mr. Herbert G. Ponting shared his views to the possibilities of the kinematograph for education purposes, as a medium on teaching history, natural history, art, literature legend and geography, etc. He was inspired by George Pearson, a former schoolmaster and now one of the most successful film producers in England. Also, he has been approached by the American for purchasing the entire world rights in his complete moving picture record of Captain Scott's South Pole expedition. The educational kinema movement is progressing rapidly in America and there is immense educational and moral value in the film record of that important adventure.
