Summary

London, Feb. 17 – Eve on Roller Skates: London women have discovered a pastime which is already popular in the provinces – roller skating. Going over to a big skating rink the other afternoon, I found half a dozen of our best- known actresses, among them pretty Fay Compton, racing around with great enthusiasm. Fay Compton, I am told, often goes down to skate for an hour with her husband, Queenie Thomas. She, with dainty Marjorie Hume, and other screen actresses, are judging a tug o' war team on wheels between rival teams of film actresses – Victor McLaglen, John Stuart, Walter Tennyson, and Frank Dane among them.
