Questioned as to the film industry of California in its relation to China, Mr. Thomas A. Graham, Vice President and General Manager of the Pacific Mail Steamship Company, said he felt sure that there was every prospect of further development, and there was a vast field for enterprise in opening up many more picture-theatres in China. The California cinema industry is just beginning to develop and nowadays visitors specially ask to be shown through one or other of the big film studios as among the sights of the country.
