A grand matinee performance will be given in the above theatre on Thursday, February 8, in aid of the funds of the Portuguese School, which will shortly be established in this Colony. Through the courtesy and generosity of the management of the theatre, the whole of the proceeds will be devoted to the above funds. A special programme has been drawn up, for which professors Gonzalez and Sollis will arrange a combined orchestra. We understand that the Police Reserve Orchestra will also be provided, at the entrance of the theatre for any voluntary donations, in addition to the admission tickets. Booking will take place at the theatre from February 1.
