Summary
The Volunteer Parade Ground was prettily enclosed with flag barriers. This year's bazaar and fete were successful. The Governor and the Colonial Secretary were present. Mrs. Peter, Mrs. Stedman, Mrs. May, Mrs. Tomkins, the Misses Loureiro and Mrs. Jordan were the most prominent workers. The most popular attraction was Victoria Cinematograph. The Cinematograph Company had generously lent their machine and a selection of films.
