The celebrations in connection with the 13th anniversary of the Portuguese Republic concluded on Saturday. Held on their grounds in Kowloon, the sports were organized by the Club de Recreio. Participated officials include the Portuguese Consul General, Signor C. de Albuquerque e Castro and Madame Castro. Mr. E. V. M. R. de Sousa voiced the Club's thanks to Madame Castro and all who had contributed. The festivities wound up with a ball given by the Club de Recreio in the Kowloon Theatre in the evening. Brunswick Studio Band performed.
