Summary

This evening's programme at the Star Theatre is a little out of the ordinary. It includes two films of superlative merit in which appear Jack Hoxie and Jackie Coogan. Hoxie is deemed the most daring horseman known for a long time, and in 'The Phantom Horseman,' Hoxie does some wonderful feats of riding. Jackie Coogan in 'Trouble' is just Jackie Coogan. The young man has been in 'trouble' in London, recently, where the crowds who collected to welcome him were almost as numerous as that which greeted Mary Pickford. Jackie is one of Charlie Chaplin's discoveries. Tomorrow, Lon Chaney in 'Treasure Island' will be screened.
