Summary

Before Mr. S. B. B. McElderry at the Central Magistracy yesterday, two Chinese constables were charged on remand with assaulting a ticket collector, of the Western Theatre, Third Street. Mr. K. K. Lo appeared for the prosecution and Mr. C. A. S. Ross represented the two defendants. After hearing the defence, his Worship imposed fines of $25 on each defendant, remarking that he was satisfied that both defendants were concerned in the assault.
