Summary

Two artists, so divergent in their methods as William Hart and Charlie Chaplin, are the attractions at the Star Theatre. William Hart – without wishing to pun – is the star with the big heart, taking roles and themes in which the stout will and mind play a great part. 'The Cradle of Courage' will be found to be an enthralling tale of adventure. 'Behind the Scene' suggests itself; and seeing the great one mixed up with stage props, actresses, plays and the like, is but to see him in another phase. The third item in the programme in which the word super might rightly be used is 'The Shadowgraph,' the rights for which China have been purchased by Hongkong Amusements Ltd. It would spoil things to indicate what this is.
