Summary

It was evident from the packed condition of the Victoria Theatre last night that local people are prepared to open their purses for no worthy an object as the 'Our Day' Fund. Everybody was there, including H. E. the Governor, Lady and the Misses May and H. E. Major General Ventris and everybody had a good time. The main performers included Mr. H. E. Muriel, Mrs. Aubrey, Miss Dions May, Mr. Abney, Miss A. Gordon, Mr. Denman Fuller, Mr. Frank Allen, Mr. H. L. Jones, and Miss M. Gordon. The committee members wish to thank Mr. J. Blake and the Victoria Theatre management generally.
