Summary

Monte Blue and Marie Prevost, as fine a combination of screen players as ever took leading honours, made things hum with action in 'Brass,' which came yesterday to the World Theatre as the feature attraction of the bill. 'Brass' is the screen adaptation from Charles G. Norris' novel of marriage and divorce, which enjoyed 'bestseller' vogue. So perfect is the picture version that one wonders whether the author had the cast of actors in mind when he wrote his story or whether the skill of director Sidney Frankin [sic] selected just the right cast. Other contributions to the success of this Warner Bros. classic of the screen are Harry Myers, Vera Lewis, Irene Rich, Frank Keenan and Miss DuPont. Another interesting picture is the Hongkong Tropical Film, showing the Dragon Boat Festival, the Annual Inspection of the Police and unveiling of the photo of the late Governor R. F. Macdonell.
