In addition to one or two good comics, there was a lengthy four part film 'Protea' screened at the Bijou. But the special item was a really magnificent film representation of a couple of scenes from Beaumarchais' world-famous comedy 'Le Marriage de Figaro.'
The weekend show at the Bijou consisted of a couple of bright little comics and an Italian drama 'The Remembrances of the Other.' tonight a new programme is introduced, the chief features of which are 'Prisoner 118' and 'Fantomas' (First Series).
At the Bijou, there have been large houses over Saturday and Sunday. In addition to some good comics, the programme contains a coloured Pathe film based on Alexandre Dumas' 'The Queen's Necklace' and a Nordisk Company's four-part dramatic piece 'The Fatal Three.…
A new series of the wonderful Fantomas pictures was shown at the Bijou last night. Professor Gonzales played a violin solo.
