A dramatic story 'A Hero of the People' is now being screened in six parts at the Hongkong Theatre. The final episodes of 'The Purple Mask' will be shown tonight and another splendid film is anticipated for next week while matinees were well patronised.

The management of the Hongkong Theatre announces a special matinee this afternoon when the theatre will be thrown open to all children and many toys and sweets distributed. Selected pictures will be screened and the orchestra will play special X'mas music.
