The interpretation of 'Barnaby Rudge' is shown at the Victoria, together with this week's issue of Pathe's British Gazette. On Friday, the 19th and 20th episodes of 'Exploits of Elaine' and a Charlie Chaplin film will be shown.

The special matinee on behalf of the Portuguese Red Cross Society was well attended including orchestra performance, several films including Charlie Chaplin film and 'The Millionairess' and the singing of a Portuguese song.

The seventh and eighth episodes of the serial film 'The Grip of Evil' are now showing at the Victoria Theatre. The programme also includes some humorous films featuring the Wiffle and Pathe's Gazette.

Scarlet Pimpernel,' from Baroness Orczy's novel, was shown on the screen at the World Theatre. Dustin Farnum and Winifred Kingston take the main roles in the film. Film synopsis included. Pathe News and two good comedies are also in the programme.
