A successful bazaar was held at the Seamen's Institute. There were other attractions, including cinematograph pictures, shown by Pathe Freres, under the supervision of Mr. W. Stephenson, and a museum.

The accommodation at St. Stephen's Girls' College was overtaxed. The programme includes children taking part in a concert and a display of cinematograph pictures made an enjoyable finale.
