Screening of 'The Annals of the War' (Nos. 1 & 2), with introduction, British and American Gazettes, 'The Shielding Shadow' and 'Court House Crooks' featuring Ford Sterling

At the Victoria Theatre the last two episodes of the serial film 'The Shielding Shadow' will be shown tonight. The Annals of the War series is proceeding regularly and are very interesting. A great number of people are following them throughout with keen interest.

Mr J. J. Blake, the manager of that Victoria Theatre, informs us that great care has been taken in the choice of productions for the winter season. Great variety of films were obtained, including 'The Grip of Evil,' with Jack Saunders, 'The Fatal Ring' featuring Pearl White…

Mlle. Marie Louise Sterlicg gave further dances at the Victoria Theatre. The chief item of the pictures was 'Sunshine and Gold,' starring Baby Marie Osborne. Other films were 'Annals of the War' and 'How Jim won his Valentine.'

Pearl White played her part well in the 'Fatal Ring' while another feature 'The Annals of the War' is also supplied by Pathe Freres.
